Contact Lens Image

At NewVision Eyecare, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Our success in fitting and prescribing contact lenses to our patients is an outcome of those efforts.  We are considered to be one of the preeminent contact lens practices in the Puget Sound area. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Kerry Moscovitz will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle. We keep well-informed of the emerging technologies that has enabled almost everyone to wear contact lenses.  Even if you need bifocals or reading glasses; even if you have astigmatism; even if you have dry eyes or have previously been unable to wear lenses - there are options available to you!

Evaluation

Prior to prescribing contact lenses, Dr. Moscovitz determines what level of vision correction you require. Refractive error (commonly known as nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism depending on the error) is evaluated by measuring how the eyes focus when a series of different lenses are placed in front of them - the final result is considered to be your prescription for glasses. Once the doctor has determined that prescription then you may choose to proceed to a contact lens evaluation and fitting to figure out what solution might work best for your everyday needs. To schedule an appointment for a vision evaluation with our Sammamish optometrist, call (425) 392-2196 today.

Contact Lenses

If you choose to proceed with an evaluation for contact lens wear, there are many different types of lenses that we can choose from.  Some of the most recent advances in contact lenses include:

  • 30-day Continuous Wear contact lenses
  • Disposable astigmatic (toric) contact lenses incl. 1-Day disposable lenses
  • Bifocal/Multifocal soft and rigid contact lenses
  • 1-Day Disposable, "ready-to-wear" contact lenses
  • Contact lenses especially designed for dry eyes

At NewVision Eyecare, we offer our patient the PLC program for contact lenses.  PLC stands for Professional Lens Care and represents our commitment to superior vision and comfort in contact lenses.  The program consists of the following features:

  • 12 months of unlimited professional contact lens services
  • 20% discount on all frames and lens products in the optical at the time when contact lenses are purchased
  • Free sample packs of contact lens solutions and new cases

The PLC program is just another example of how we strive to exceed your expectations for quality care, products and customer service.

Client Testimonial

The best eyecare in the Sammamish/Issaquah area! The office staff are one of the most efficient, personable, knowledgeable & friendly teams I have ever encountered in a medical office. Dr. Moscovitz has always provided me with excellent vision care and the optical side of the practice has a great selection of frames to chose from.
